glass half full
A set of music-related packaging (including vinyl, CD, and cassette formats) for an imagined mini album called 'glass half full'. The idea of the project was to create a personal and emotional tone to the album art, and to be a somewhat reflective piece.

For the cover, the main imagery is simple so that the focus of the cover is directed to one specific spot. A use of a grayscale filter with only a pop of colour within a lens of the glass not only emphasized this idea, but was a play on the album name. It was also a way to evoke an a feeling of hope as well as act as a representation of change to the viewer. A bit of whimsy through the use of a hand-written font, and the flowers surrounding the model helps keep the tone casual and refreshing. The flowers included are meant to represent patience, courage, ambition, resolution. With these hidden deeper meaning, there is an added depth to the piece.
The back was displayed more simply to offset the busier front. As the eyes are said to be the window to the soul, a literal use of a window mixed with a galaxy imagery was a minimalistic way to get across the point that these songs were to be a self-reflection of the artist.
